Logotypes & Symbols
Marks of Distinction
Creative Direction
Design
Below is a small sample of the logos and logotypes I’ve designed throughout my career. Most of these are final logos that were used. A few are concepts that didn’t make the cut. In many cases, these logos are small parts of visual systems I helped create. After all, a logo is only as good as the way it’s used, and it means little without context.
Some clients need an iconic mark such as a mascot, an abstract symbol, or a monogram. Sometimes a simple, distinct wordmark does the job. And from time to time, the brand identity is more of a kit of parts than a monolithic logo.
The clients represented here range from startups, nonprofits, and a local restaurant, to St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and a Fortune 500 company.
